Brief Description:  Installed Pitch Servo for Autopilot

Fit the F-1099B lower wing root fairings to the wing leading edges. To do this, I installed a piece of plywood to the bottom of the wing cradle which allowed me to slide each wing back in the cradle to allow access to the root so that the fairing could be fitted to the leading edge by bending by hand.

Installed the auto pilot pitch servo to the bracket installed prior to installation of the forward tail cone top skin. Initially the servo stop bracket was limiting ridder motion rather than the elevator stops. Removed the servo in order to move the linkage from the outer hole of the servo to the middle hole. Reassembled the servo to the bracket but the servo stops still prevented full elevator motion. Removed the servo stop bracket and cut about 1/8" off each side of the stop bracket. Reassembled and while range of motion was improved, it still hit the servo stop ahead of the elevator stop. Removed the stop bracket and trimmed an additional 1/8" off of each side. Ensured that the servo stop bracket would still prevent the servo arm from going over center, which is it's purpose. Reassembled the bracket and servo arm, adjusted the servo connection arm, and achieved the desired result that the elevator stops limit the elevator motion in each direction just ahead of hitting the servo stops.
