Installed BNC connector to the coax for the GTR 20 radio. Installed a TNC connector to the coax for the GPS antenna connection to PFD-1. Also cut off the BNC connector I install long ago for the GPS antenna and replaced it with the required TNC connector.
Started to install the left side panel tray and realized that the GTR 20 radio as located on the tray didn't have adequate room to install the wiring connector nor the coax connector. After considering several altarnatives, decided the best solution was to flip the bottom part of the tray over and mount the radio on the under side of the tray, with the connectors facing the center of the plane. Did this and found it will work well.
Located the ELT mounting tray on the shelf installed in the tail cone for this, drilled mounting holes and mounted the tray with securing straps to the shelf using 4 #6 screws with nylock nuts and washers. In looking at the ELT determined that my original plans for wiring to it will need to be modified as it is a different ELT brand/model from my original plans.
