Brief Description: Wired Panel Lights; CO Detector and Switch LEDs
Wired the Lighted Push Buttons (Master Warn, Master Caution, CO). Used push-on crimp terminals for the wiring. Confirmed LEDs and switches working using VOM and 12 Volt power supply. Realized I hadn't installed the ground wires for these lights, so added 2 ground wires from the lights to the left ground block.
Installed all the wire connections to the CO Detector. Since this detector has a built-in termination strip, I applied solder to the stripped wires before inserting them into the terminals and tightening them.
Started working on wiring the main panel switches. Installed the LEDs in each of the switches. Determined that installed each LED with the copper wire on the left makes for consistent connectios (the LED lamps can be inserted either way).
Installed wiring for the left panel lights using wires installed with push-on crimp terminals, daisy chaining the terminals to connect to all 7 switch lights for power and for return to PWM input on the GAD 27.
Realized that I had not installed the power wires for the switch lights. Ran a power wire from the left bank of switches to the right bank. Power will then be run from the right bank to the ckt breaker in the right side breaker panel.
