Brief Description:  GAD 27 - P271 Connector Wiring

Completed wiring for GAD 27 - P271 connector.

Did not wire the CAN Bus to the GAD 27 as I want to wait until the harness is installed in the panel so that I can wire the CAN Bus directly between LRUs to keep the length of the bus minimized.

Also didn't wire the cabin lights as that wire is already installed in the plane so will need to be added to the connector once the panel is installed in the aircraft.

Measured, cut, and layed out the wires with wire labels on the wiring board. Soldered drain wires to the shields.

Connected all of the wires running to the panel displayed LRUs for lighting level adjustment via the GAD 27 output just ahead of the P271 connector. Did this in two sets of 3 cables each, with the common wires twisted together and soldered, then insulated with heat shrink tubing. Then connected the 2 sets of three together to a single #22 AWG using red to connect all white wires and black to connect all blue wires. Also connected all of the shield drains together to a common green shield drain wire. Bundled this large bunch of spices together and held them together with a large heat shrink tube for protection and neatness.

Added pins to all of the wires and inserted the pins into the P271 connector. Made up the back shell to the connector and connected the drain wires to the back shell using crimped ring terminals.
