Brief Description:  Continued QB Fuselage Work Against Plans

Cleaned up Empenage fairing tips using belt sander.
Added an additional coat of epoxy resin to the front of the horiz. stab. tips to smooth the surface after sanding it down.
Added 4 layers of fiberglass cloth to the end of the vert. stab. tip in order to build it up and close the large gap between the tip and the rudder counter weight nose. Added a second 4 layers of fiberglass cloth and resin at the end of the day to further close the gap.

Continued to go through the fuselage build steps to confirm steps completed by QB team.

Cut out the baggage door opening using a 3" pneumatic cutter. Trimmed the cut tabs with sheet metal snips, and then smoothed the opening using a 2" scotch brite wheel in the pneumatic drill.
Trimmed the cut tabs in the door skin using snips, and then smoothed the door perimeter with the scotch brite wheel on the grinder.

Determined to install access plates in the baggage compartment floor for future access to the bolts holding the steps in place. Scuffed sheet metal to prepare it for priming prior to using it to build reinforcing ring below these access plates which will hold nut plates to secure the cover plates.

Scuffed several other parts in preparation for painting with primer tomorrow morning.
