Riveted the wing root fairing supports F-1099E, F-1099F, F-1099G and F-1099H Wing Root Fairing Supports to the fuselage on both sides of the aircraft.
To accomplish this without removing the wings, required careful driving with a custom bent offset and with a couple different bucking bars. While difficult in several places, we accomplished this work and avoided having to remove the wings.
Once the driven rivets were completed, Carl left and I completed the pulled rivets called out in the plans.
I then riveted the 4 nut plates per side left off to allow access to attach the supports, using a pneumatic squeezer. There were a couple of rivets at the main spar that could not be reached due to the long hardware store bolt & nut holding the wing in place. Thise will be completed when I install the permanent spar bolts.
I finished the day by installing the appropriate switch labels onto each of the two stick grips.
