Brief Description:  Riveted Bottom Skin on Left Wing

Riveted the bottom skin onto the QB wings, closing them up.
Started with the wing in the cradle and started riveting at the location called out by the plans. This quickly turned out to be a mistake, as I was unable to reach all the rivet locations inside the wings without folding the wing skin back. Moved the wing onto the bench to improve access inside, and completed the riveting with it on the bench. Having already riveted one section of the skin, in order to fold the skin back to reach the back for bucking, there was no choice but to cut the small tab above the flap bracket. After 8.5 hrs working, with many cuts to arms from reaching through lightening holes, the left wing was completed. Marisa handled the rivet gun and I did all the bucking.

Mid-morning, wrapped my bare right arm with paper towel covered in masking tape to help protect it from cuts as I reached through lightening holes. This helped, but the paper towel absorbed sweat and deteriorated, requiring renewal about hourly. After lunch, I used a 12 inch square micro fiber cloth in place of the paper towel, which held up all afternoon.
