Brief Description:  Engine Trouble Shooting

Re-timed left magneto to 25 deg. BTDC. Checked that right mag is still at 25 deg BTDC. Checked wiring to ignition switch and starter solenoid. All OK.
Reversed flap motor leads on GAD 27 so that it works in proper direction.
Found tack sender wiring wrong at GAD 24 as I used the wire that came attached to the sensor, rather than needing to splicie on a longer lead. This resulted in different wire colors that my wiring diagram called out. Re-pinned the connection and now tach work.

Engine still won't start or run on the left mag. Decided that it may be that the rotor is out of position causing the spark to be directed to the wrong cylnder. Removed the left mag from the engine, opened the plug wire cap, inserted a timing pin, and then re-installed the mag. (Had to remove the crankcase vent pipe to access the mag, then replaced it after reinstalling the mag.)
