Brief Description:  Installed Pitot/AOA and Fuel Level Transmitters

Completed installation of the Pitot/AOA. Carefull drilled the 5 mounting holes in the pitot mast using a very small (#50) drill. Drilled the holes slightly higher than I thought they needed to be, in order to allow final fitting by filing the end of the mast slightly for perfect fit. Confirmed the holes were in the right place using a small broken drill bit to feel for the threaded holes in the pitot tube through the holes drilled in the mast.

Enlarged the holes in the mast to match the size of the screws provided with the pitot tube. Adjusted the length of the mast slightly using sand paper for an exact fit on height into the mast. Cut the pitot and AOA tubing, installed the fittings to connect the aluminum tubing to the nylon tubing run previously, and connected the tubing. Lifted the pitot tube into place while bending the aluminum tubing slightly within the wing, and then screwed the pitot tube into place in the mast. Connected the pitot heating wires to the pitot heat wires run previously using crimp butt splices.

Installed the float type fuel level transmitters into the fuel tanks. Used fresh ProSeal on both sides of the rubber gasket provided with the transmitters, and screwed them into place.
