Fit the Upper Wing Root fairings to the fuselage and wing in the same manner as the lower wing root fairings. Once properly fitting, match hole drilled the mounting holes with #40 drill bit. Used a 12" long bit to reach the inboard holes that are very close to the fuselage sides. Then with the fiarings clecoed and screwed in place, drilled the holes to #30 size since I don't have #19 clecoes.
Removed the fiarings and the fairing supports. Using a K1100-08 nutplate as a guide, drilled the #40 rivet holes for mounting the nutplates to the fairings supports. Then drilled out the screw holes to #19.
Realized that I had miss-drilled one of the rivet holes for #10 instead of the center hole. Corrected by planning to install a single side mounted nutplate instead by drilling a second mounting hole on the opposite side of the oversized rivet hole.
Began riveting nutplates to the left side wing fairing supports, but ran out of nutplates. Ordered 50 additional K1100-08 nutplates from Aircraft Spruce, which should arrive on Wed. of next week.
