Brief Description:  Left Side Completion, GAD 27 Connectors

Re-installed the avionics tray into the left side of panel, after securing wire harnesses with large tie-wraps after the install of "catapillar" grommets on the edge of the sub-panel laat Friday. Installed the front insert for the left side, fully securing it with 4-40 screws and nylok nuts around the PFD opening. Connected the dimmer pots using the DB-9 connectors install for this, and using 2 tie-wraps to secure the 2 connectors together.

Installed the Master Warn, Caution, and CO2 lights. Broke off one of the tabs on one light unit, so replaced it with the spare light I purchased.

Started working to finish up the right side of the panel. Completed the 2 DB connectors for the GAD 27, adding wires to the connectors for auto pilot servos and overhead lights. Had to sort out wiring to find the wire for AP-T3 pitch servo. Finally confirmed the wire by testing continuity between pins in the servo connector and the end of the suspected wire (mis-labeled) at the panel.

Had to splice an extension onto the wire from the overhead lights to the GAD 27 as it was too short to reach the right side of the panel. Spliced it by soldering on an extension wire and covering the splice with heat shrink tubing.
