Brief Description:  Alternator Connections, Static Connection

Installed wiring to Standby Alternator.

Using wires provided by B&C with the alternator/regulator package, installed the field wire between the alternator and the VR. Also connected the power B lead provided with current sensor to the alternator and routed the field wire, B lead wire, and the current sensor cable through the firewall fitting installed in the top center of the firewall. Drilled a 5/8" hole through the sub-panel with a bushing below the standby voltage regulator and ran the wires through that bushing. Attached the field lead to the standby voltage regulator, and left the other wires coiled for connection to the panel when it is installed.

Installed tie-wrap mounting squares along the left lower side brace and up the vertical brace to secure the static/pitot/AOA tubes routing to the ADHRS which is mounted on the sub-panel. Installed a cushion clamp to the back side of the sub-panel for supporting these tubes, and installed a 7/8" bushing through a hole below the ADHRS to bring the tubes through the sub-panel for connection. Installed the static line tube, cut it for length and inserted it into the static fitting in the ADHRS. The pitot and AOA tubes are currently installed in the left wing and coiled at the root of the wing to be run after the wing is attached. These will be run along the same route as the static line using the same fasteners and bushing.
