Brief Description:  Large AWG Crimper Test, Painted Cabin Brace

Tested and tried out the new large AWG crimping tool for use on "battery terminal" connectors. Found it takes considerable force to close the crimp but it does work.

Sorted and put away the very small screws received from WB Parts. These stainless steel screws were purchased primarily for Garmin back shells if/when I loose the ones provided with the connector kits.

Prepared the front cabin brace (that connects between the fiberglass top and the sub-panel) for paint using maroon Scotch Brite to break the gloss and clean up the white powder coat on the brace. Applied the first coat of flat black textured Rustoleum paint to the brace. [Decided that the gloss white brace would reflect in the windscreen and look out of place with the rest of the glare shield in black leather and the panel in semi-gloss coated carbon fiber. Used textured paint to hide any imperfections.]
