Brief Description: Cushion Clamps for Engine Plug Wires, Grounding
Installed cushion clamps to the bottom of the engine cam covers and routed the lower plug wires from the magnitos to the proper plugs. Installed additional cushion clamps on the engine mount to support the plug wires in the back of the engine.
Reviewed the fuel valve extension to determine what will be required to accomodate the center console. Talked to Geoff of Aerosport Products, who suggested cutting the valve extension and adding a center piece to extend it the additional 1.75" required.
Prepared the engine mount pads for connection of the 2 grounding braids by sanding off the powder coating. Installed the straps to the engine. Need larger bolts to install to the engine mount, which I will order this weekend.
Sanded down the cowl bump out for the compressor to smooth it. Applied another coat of epoxy/micro (less stiff this time) to help with shaping the rear part of the bump out.
