With the fuselage up on a workbench, used a combination of the wooden DRDT platform with a couple of 2x4s side by side placed under the wheel to be equivalent to having the tire just touching the ground.
Had trouble seeing the marks for drilling the mounting holes. Had to remove the fairing, darken the marks on the bracket, and clean the inside of the fairing with alcohol to make it more translucent.
