Brief Description:  Right Wing Tip Smoothing & Right Main Gear Prep.

Sanded the epoxy-micro installed on Wed. to smooth the connection between the wing tip and the landing/taxi light insert.

With new drill bits, started drilling the bolt hole for the brake assembly mount to the gear leg. 3/8" Drill caught and snapped in two after just 20 seconds of drilling! Went to Lowes and purchased another 3/8" drill and continued drilling out the main bolt hole for the brake assembly, finally getting completely through. (A much more difficult time on the right side than previously on the left side.)
Installed the brake mounting assembly to the right gear leg. Installed the tire/wheel, and then counted the number of turns to remove the nut - 8 full turns just like with the left wheel.
Re-installed the nut without the tire and drilled the 1/8" hole for the cotter pin.
Drilled the nut and installed the axle extension for the wheel pant support, using the after market turned aluminum extension purchased from Cleaveland tool.

Added fresh epoxy-micro to the area of the wing tip insert to futher smooth the area.

Applied a tube of RTV to the various areas where conduit and AC hoses pass through the fuselage members in order to secure them and cushion against wear from vibration.

Pulled the conduit through the holes in the left rear seat floor cover and clecoed the cover into place.
