Brief Description:  Cabin Top Prep; Oil Cooler Box

Sanded the inside of the fiberglass cabin top in preparation for priming and painting.
Masked off the outside and other areas not to be primed with tape and paper.
Cleaned inside of cabin top with alcohol in preparation for priming.
Applied a very light coat of UV Smooth Prime to inside of cabin top with a spray gun. However, the gun didn't work right and was clogging even though the Smooth Prime was thinned with water per the instructions on the can. Gave up and will apply with a roller instead.

Assembled the oil cooler support box received this week. Had to partially unfold it in order to get to some of the rivet holes to dimple them. Some of the dimples had to be done with the close quarters dimple set using a hand pop rivet tool.

Found that 2 rivets had been installed by the Van's QB team that should have been left open for the oil cooler box. Drilled these out. Will rivet the box in place when I have a helper as the rivets will need to be driven/bucked and will require 2 people.
