Brief Description:  Prepare Wing Tip Light Covers

Decided to tackle the cutting of the wing tip light covers before starting the job of trimming the plexiglass wind screen. Quickly discovered that the light covers are made of a different clear plastic material, but decided to complete the fitting of these before starting on the plexiglass wind screen.

Marked the trim lines in the right cover and trimmed to within about 1/2" of the lines. Initiallly tried using the dremel metal cuting disk that worked best on the initial testing on plexiglass, but determined that wasn't the best tool to cut the thin thermoplastic light covers, so switched to the H.F. diamond disks used for fiberglass trimming.

Checked on the fit to the wing tip, and proceeded to trim away more material using a random orbit sander with 80 grit paper. Worked on both edges until close.

Stopped early for the day as it is Friday.
