Brief Description:  Wiring Prep & Fiberglass Overhead Console

Added heat shrink tubing over the wires to the tail light to protect them as recommended in OP-37 electrical drawings. Installed 2 layers of shrink tubing for added protection.
Applied RTV to the wires at select points in the tail cone to anchor them against vibration. Ran out of RTV so will continue the process after purchasing more.

Determined a location for a 10 point terminal strip on F-1005 Rear Spar Bulkhead to be used to connect the 3 nav/strobe lights and the 2 landing/taxi lights, with a single wire run from the terminal strip forward to the control panel switches. Installed 4 nut plates to hold the terminal strip.

Installed F-10111 angles for to the F-1005 bulkhead on both sides of the center tunnel to secure wiring with cushioned clamps per OP-37 page 10. Drilled the wiring holes and clamp mounting holes for the flap motor.

Added a fiberglass strip ~ 1.25 inch wide to smooth the transition from the overhead console mounting flange to the cabin top, and to further seal the console for the air conditioning air distribution.
Initially used the fast hardener for the epoxy, but it began to thicken up before completing one side. Quickly mixed up another batch to finish the right side. Then mixed a batch with slow hardener and used it for the left side fiberglass strip.
