Brief Description: Prepare Overhead Console for Gluing
Determined locations on the sides of the console, centered in the baggage area for the 2 LED lights received on Friday. Cut the rectangular openings required for the lights. Installed 2 nut plates for each light bar to match attachment holes in lights
Drilled mounting holes for the 2 cover plates in the overhead console that hold the eyeball lights/switches for the front and the back seats. Installed nut plates in the console for the cover plates, except for the corner holes as I need short nut plates to fit in these 8 locations, which I will have to purchase. Determined that I will need to use pan head screws to hold the plates rather than flat head screws, as the pre-drilled holes in the aluminum plates are too close to the edges to be able to dimple the plates.
