Brief Description:  Antennas, Tail LIght, Bulkhead Repair

Prepared vertical stabilizer bottom fairing for installation of tail light:
Drilled holes for AeroLED Suntail light mount using Cleaveland Tools Tail Light Adapter Ring. Did not do final rivet of ring as I need a wire terminal to install with the riveting for a ground connection

Determined the locations for the Transponder antenna and the ADS-B antenna and drilled mounting holes. The Transponder antenna is located in the center tunnel next to the fuel filter. The ADS-B antenna is located in the bottom of the tail cone just in front of the F-1008 bulkhead on the right side, which puts it 40 inches behind the #2 Com antenna (also on the aircraft bottom).

Dimpled the rivet holes for mounting the GPS antenna reinforcement plates using the "pop rivet dimpling tool" recently purchased for #30 holes.

Repaired the baggage bulkhead F-1006 right side where it had been damaged by the installation and removal of the cabin top, causing a split in the rolled edge just above the longeron. Drilled out the rivets at the top of F-1006C, and cut the damaged portion of F-1006C just below the tab immediately below the longeron and above the rivet holding it to the side skin. Cut a replacement F-1006C purchased from Van's to fit in the portion removed, leaving a tab at the bottom of the new piece which was drilled for the installation of 4 new AN426AD4-4 rivets. Clecoed the new bulkhead piece to the side skin holes and to the removed rivet holes, and match drilled the new holes in the lower end of the new piece to the existing bottom piece of the original F-1006C. Dimpled and riveted the top and bottom of the new piece into place using AN426AD4-4 rivets.

Began permanent installation of the F-1028 Baggage Bulkhead Channel by riveting it to the F-1029-R Bellcrank Rib. Was able to drive the first rivet by myself, but will need help to install the rest as it is difficult to hold the bucking bar in the tight area as I waited to long to do this work. (I didn't install it at the time the plans originally called
