Spent the day researching electrical system and avionics requirements in order to begin development of the electrical schematics. Developed a spreadsheet that lists each electrical circuit with its load, breaker and wire size requirements.
Researched the B&C alternators installation and downloaded manuals. Contacted Nathan Bainbridge of B&C regarding alternator requirements for bus voltage sensing. Researched and extracted electrical loads and requirements from the G3X installation manual, the G5 manual, and the GTN 650 manual. Contacted Jason Smith of Aerotronics for help in finding the GTN 650 info. Contacted Garmin G3X support regarding magnetometer location. Contacted Mike D'Amico of AeroLEDs regarding wire sizing and breaker size for Pulsar NS position/strobe lights.
