Brief Description:  Fuel System

Received the FT-60 fuel flow transducer. Found that I don't have long enough bolts to attach it to the Van's provided bracket that I previously installed nut plates in for the FT-60 and riveted to the bottom skin.

Also found that the distance between the FT-60 inlet and the discharge of the fuel pump is only 1.125". Not sure how to connect them with this short distance. Thought about a hose with a full 360 deg. loop but that will cost about $100 for the hose and will have a slightly smaller internal diameter than the intended aluminum tubing. Will have to think about this and check with VAF for possible solutions.

Worked further on the horiz. stabilizer wing tips. Found that the left tip had too much installed fiberglass/resin and was rubbing on the elevator tip. Sanded it back down to the bare foam, and re-did the fiberglass top layer.

Determined approximate position for the 2 "computer" fans that I intend to place in the top of the control panel between the front panel and the aux. panel. This will improve avionics temperatures and also provide some airflow over the wind screen as a full time defroster.

Stopped work as don't have the parts necessary to continue.
