Brief Description: Cutting Down Fiberglass Top; Installing Baggage Do
Spent the morning cutting down the areas for the doors. "Sanded" one of the doors to the scribed line.
Spend the afternoon completing the baggage door now that the lock arrived last night. Closed the back side of the door by riveting the closure panel. Fit the door into the opening and match drilled the top and bottom hinge holes. Took it back off and match drilled the remainder of the rivet holes.
Had to hand countersink the hinge as the holes are too close to the hinge barrel to use the microstop counterisnk tool. Riveted the hinge to the door frame.
Separated the door frame hinge side from the door, and riveted it to the side skin. Going to have to buy a very small bucking bar to get to the 2 rivets at the top of the frame which connect it to the longeron.
