Brief Description: Wing & Fuselage Conduit, Aileron Trim Servo
Installed conduit into right wing. Pulled strings into left wing conduit installed yesterday, as well as through wire bushings in both wings.
Pulled string into the tail cone along the path for the rudder cables, which should make installing these cables easier once the tail cone and fuselage have been connected and closed up.
Determine paths for 6 conduits from the back of the fuselage to the front control panel. Enlarged a number of holes in side braces/bulk heads on both sides of fuselage, allowing for installation of 3 of the standard Van's corregated conduits along each side. (Considered running 1.5" electrical conduit under the baggage compartment floor, but believe the above solution will work better.
Riveted the pitot mast to the left wing skin, leaving the bottom 3 holes open for riveting at time of skin attachment. Inserted a temporary shim into the bottom offset area of these future 3 rivets while installing the other rivets. Sealed the bottom flange of the pitot mast to the wing skin with ProSeal.
Installed both rear passenger vent doors now that hardware has been received from Van's for this purpose.
