Brief Description:  Installed Wing Conduit & Fuselage Floor Insulation

Sprayed primer on new parts received from Van's and on the aileron actuation torque tubes. Thinned primer 2:1 with catylitic reducer instead of 1.5:1, with much better results.

Installed conduit into left wing for future wire. Initially installed in top lightening holes using RTV with string to hold it in place. Near end of day, realized that this placed the conduit end too close to the flaps activation mechanism, so removed, cleaned up conduit, and re-installed into the second lightening hole.

Installed sound dampening insulation under front foot well floors. Cut insulation to fit within each floor rib, and then slid into place while holding floor panels up from edge since they couldn't be removed without removing landing gear attachment assembly. Used "Super Sound Proof" 1/2 in. thick fire retardent sound attenuating foam from Aircraft Spruce (part number 09-42725.
Installed the same sound insulation under the rear seat foot floors as well.

Removed fuel flow mounting bracket from fuseage to install nut plates, but discovered that Van's had not provided the required nut plates. Ordered nut plate for installation.
