Brief Description:  Redo of some of the cast firberglass

Arriving at the workshop Monday morning I found that as I feared the cast resin tips had not properly cured and although partly hardened, were mostly a sticky mess. This meant removing the uncured resin mix by hand with a lot of acetone and a scraper I eventually got all the parts pretty clean with the exception of the fin tip which had actually dried quite nicely and had a nice concave face as planned. Having removed the goo I mixed up a new batch of resin with slightly more hardener and microballoons, remasked the edges to make a 'well' on the faces and then poured each part. These actually dried before I closed up that evening but were l;eft overnight to properly cure for shaping and finishing. The weather had turned a bit and we were expecting even worse weather the next day so I decided to delay the rest of the fiberglass work and focus on the boost pump and fuel line/system installation, since all the parts had arrived and this was overdue. To prepare for this I spoke to other builders, studied their installations and read through all the documentation providded by Vans and Andair the pump manufacturer.
