Brief Description:  Resin filling, matching stab to elevator tips, and

Some more work on getting the stab to elevator tips gap perfect and I believe I succeeded beautifully Left and right, albeit with the need for some resin filler and properly countersinking the srews and a lot of shaping of the lead balances, all ahavings will be melted back into the lead block after to maintain correct balance, this said I am not happy with the balance of the elevators at present and will need to bring this up to get a more nuetral balance with tips, resin and paint on. During this work on the elevators I removed a foam trunking length I had placed on the4 trailing edge of the port elevator a long time ago for protection, only to find a terrible 'pinch' in two places just inside of the two outboard ribs and right on the folded trailing edge! an hour or more was spent in consultation with fellow builders and metal workers/repairers to determine if this could be fixed and if so how?? I concluded to try the repair myself and with a combination of a shaped stick, panel hammer, various blocks of wood, and the seamer I was able to at least get the edge perfectly aligned again. Some more photo's and consultation with one builder in particular has me considering a drill and pull repair but it is entirely possible that the part will need re-skinning or replacing! I have a replacement from a scrapped RV-7 but will try the repairers first.
