Brief Description: Pitot assembly, wings moved in, tips glassed
continued work on the pitot to plate assembly and had to enlarge several times the cutout in the access plate by hand and litle by little to get the right fit.
Spent some time glassing again, this time all the outstanding gklassing on the tips uincluding the cloth and filler on the face of the fin tip so that the gap with the rudder horn face is no more than 1/8" - a bit of back and forth. Also filled the faces of the stab tips and made some more metal strips for the riveting of all the tips.
Got both wings moved in but before that got the right wing laid down on the table I made up this morning from the crate box, was able to re isntall the aileron rods in position in the wing but will have to redo this according to the instruction for a final time when I locate the right bolt and nut set I put aside for this.
Also fitted the Pitot assembly in place in the wing and formed the tubes and wiring accordingly, also did some research into the method of connecting the system and pulled out the necessary fittings and tubing from our stock.
