Brief Description:  Shroud skin prepped, first panel rib repair

Having missed a day yesterday I picked up where I left off on Friday with the assembly of the canopy frame assembly. The assembly was taken off the bench and assembled on the fuselage in place temporarily with cleco's.

The canopy shroud frame that is necessary at this point to fit in assembly with the frame in place was taken apart and the skin processed - deburred, dimpled and final drilled. In replacin the shroud frame I was reminded of the interferance of the two modified panel ribs for which I still had no solution. I had to remove the previous stiffeners since just trimming them as I did before was not providing adequate clearance and the frame could not be installed with them in the way. Started with the left rib and drilled out all stiffener rivets.

With the part removed I began drawing a design that would stiffen the part adequately whilst staying clear of the pivoting frame and shroud.
