Brief Description:  Cabin interior fittings, panel brackets modified,

Started the day by intalling all the cabin fittings and covers I had just painted - most permanently but some will be removed again later for access.

In the last fitting of the canopy frame a problem was identified with the panel ribs I had designed and fitted to allow for our avionics setup, the shroud frame was making contact and in the proper closed position the parts were very much in the way. I tried removing the offending flange only from the stiffener bracket I installed on the rib in place but ended up with a mess so I drilled and removed the bracket completely and have to rethink this mod very carefully now.

Spent some time researching our now urgent international order, made up a list based on that and was able to send that off for hopefully speedy delivery.I also spent quite a lot of time sourcing a local supplier of UHMW tape but after all we went with Van's offering.

completely sealed up every opening on the deck structure that would be a problem with the skin installed, used a silicone sealant for this and had to re apply in some areas but got a good result when the skin was fitted that will last long.
