Brief Description:  panel brackets completed, F703B and panel finalize

This morning I finalized the fabrication, finish and drilling of the 8 panel attachment brackets -
F-721, F-703C, F-697, F-743B x2., these were also test fittwed in place on the panel face.

Next I could not escape what I had dreaded since starting work on the forward fuz, the complixcated (that's complex and complicated) F-703B angle that is fitted as a flange on the panel outside edge. This involved some careful measuring, calculating and following other builders work. One thing that became immediately apparent was that the 'full scale' drawing did not corrolate to the measurements given but most builder's brackets looked to have followed the drawing. I wasn't sure what to do but after discussing it decided to follow the measurements, I am not sure they are right though, just a prelimanry fit of my template suggests the drawing to be closer to accurate for the notches to facilitate the bend to follow the panel contour.

I had to make up the aforementiond template by marking out all the measured marks and then drwing nothces also measured and then mirroring the one side over to make another side and joining them up to make one long bracket template, I did this on masking tape which I planned to stick on to the angle and then cut directly into but I ended up making the template in wood, one side only but turned over for the other side, from this all the markings were transfered to the angle material.
