Brief Description:  Sealing of belly, Battery box adjustment, heat shu

On my back under the belly I began applying the sealant to the Gear leg and brake coupling gaps, letting one layer cure then applying another, smoothing to a clean neat seal. Checked the seal and am happy but will apply the final filler tomorrow and then remove the masking. The same will be done to all the gaps and holes under the belly, the less critical being sealed with silicone sealant applied by a tube. Started the trimming and fabrication of the parts for the heat shuttle assembly and installation on the firewall, marked the cutout in the best location and position on the firewall after some research and questions to builders. Also used sealant to seal up the mechanism so that in the open or closed positions the shuttle won't leak. Found that the battery box required some adjustment and drilling out and replacement of the nutplates! Having removed it from it's mounting the new nutplates are being installed and the spacing revised.
