Brief Description: Changes made to the drawings and designs, boost pu
After our visit to Ian and his RV-7 we discovered that we were lacjking the high pressure boost pump we are required to install given our engine type and installation. This means a redo/rethink of the entire fuel system which required some time of research and asking fellow builders and an email written to Gus at Van's support. Sent off an email to 6 different laser and CNC and water cutters in the Guateng area with 3 replies (positive) so far. Drawings had to be revised and some re drawn to suit the cutter's specifications and a new mounting backplate concept was ontroduced this morning requiring some time designing the new parts (not easy) at 1:1 scale. The final drawings are now 100% complete and output to the necessary formats for the cutters and printers, I hope to have the full color panel art printed this weekend for our preview and test fit. 1 hour spent collating images and capturing and gathering all in the week's log.
