Brief Description:  Match-drilling tip and installed tip rib

Continued match-drilling the tip to the wing one hole at a time checking fit and alignment after each and alternating top and bottom as described previously. With a succsessful fit I ended up witha very small mis-alignment of the aileron trailing edge to the tip edge as expected but not nearly as pronounced as a lot of builders found with the new style tips.

I had to modify the tip rib slightly to accomodate the tip to wing screw holes and to allow room for the platenuts.

A few adjustments when drilling to #30 got a good match of the trailing edges and the alignment was finalized by fitting then clamping the tip rib in the trailing edge. I then marked the necessary rivet holes as per DWG 12 on the tip and with the rib in place began drilling and match-drilling - all the time checking the alignment again. With all holes drilled then final drilled, deburred and dimpled/countersunk, I riveted the rib in place as well as bonded it with epoxy which cured as a riveted.
