Brief Description: riveting, worked on tip lamps....
...continued riveting as described in previous logs, still with the wrong mushroom head so very slowly and carefully with the occasional rub required to removed the stippling this head was leaving on the skin. I tried polishing the head again which worked for the next rivet but not the one after.
At one point I put down the riveting for a while in expectation of delivery of our new swivel head and focused on some other work. Decided to continue the work I started some time ago on the wingtip lamps/landing lights. This involved cleaning and trimming by hand each of the 6 VA-194 parts, making up the spacers from supplied tubing and cutting the springs.
