Brief Description:  Complete removal of LHS wing skin,

Stopped by the electrical supplier and picked up 3m of conduit as ordered Friday then came in and immediately started on the riveting of the skin on the LHS wing but with renewed concerned about the damage caused when I slipped on Friday, I spent some time trying to repair the marks and looking up what would be the best option for us.

Willem returned and had a look and suggested it shoudl come off and possibly be replaced which I suspected anyways. I began drilling out each of the set rivets in the skin and accomplished a pretty neat drill-out on all but 4 or 5 rivets, all will have to be drilled to no4 for 'oops rivets' anyways, I am satisfied that none of the holes exceded size 4.

With the skin removed we could have a good look and both agreed it was best replaced, the damage to the skin in the rear spar rivet line was prolific and there was concern about a stress riser and possible rupture/tearing of the skin in this critical area. I sourced a new skin and the necessary rivets on order.
