I then went through all the steps left outstanding on the wings in the manual one by one on the right wing which included holes drilled to final size, some dimpling, some platenuts installed, the aileron stop was installed and stored with the attachment hardware and everything finished with a view to having this wing painted.
I made up a mock pitot plumbing system on the completed pitot head assembly and installed this in the wing with the necessary snap bushings and trunking/conduit installed, but using generic hardware and tubing which is to be replaced with aircraft grade pressure lines and AN fittings when we get some. The piot heat controller box was measured and fitted in the best location and position on the closest wing rib to the pitot and in direct reach at the access hatch and routed the wiring accordingly.
