Continued the installtion of the platenuts onto the left wingtip as described, until I ran out of platenuts with about 15 short on the top and bottom rear portions of the flanges.
Also with the plan being to remove the control surfaces from this just about completed wing, I used the lined up surfaces and tip to final trim and clean up and then smoothed and primed the tip trailing edge cut - at the gap between the tip and the aileron.
With all the platenuts I had installed I had a good 70-80% of the tip 'platenutted' so I was able to fit it to the wing with the screws and besides a few platenuts that required adjusting/repositioning, all fitted very nicely, top and bottom.
