Brief Description:  Fitted flap and aileron and set up to line up for

With only one rivet line and a few odd redo's to drill out and redo on the Right wing skin riveting I decided to put some work into installing the control surfaces for wing tip installation. I may well need the last bay open in any case so ok to carry on to this now.

With tape, brown paper, bubble plastic and foam I covered all spots that could scratch or wear on the aileron and then fitted it, found that the holes all had to be match-drilled againas the paint had collected and hardened in them. I just pushed the bolts thru as opposed to properly installing the hardware. With the aileron fitted I did the same on the flap which was a pain in the... The hinge had closed up from being painted with obviously a number of coats of final coat and primer so I had to fashion an 'L' shaped pin with a sharpened end to 'clean' out each openeing one by one but could drill out the two edge openings.

This took a lot of time and was difficult to get right with a number of failed attempts at installlation on the trailing edge hinge when the pin simply would not push in.

Eventually got the flap installed and line up with the aileron with the clamp I made a year ago to hold the two together.
