Number of Hours:  9.50
Manual Reference:
Brief Description:  Continued riveting of R wing, panel lasercutting p

Contnued setting them rivets as described in previous log from tip to root, so far without any dings or dents :P I am finding the going quite slow working in this direction and would have preferrd working out from root to tip as I did on the Left wing, that said it is progressing well and should be completed shortly.

To take a 'break' from the solo rivet work, and having encountered a contact with laser cutting facilities and the offer of discounted cutting for us I decided to spend some time finalizing the drawings for cutting which included making some changes. The material we have already is a thicker metal (.032) than what I had designed for and used originally so I had to re design some of the parts and with the avionics untis in hand I could make necessary adjustments to the design to ensure a good fit and proper layout - although I did not stray from the original layout and structure of the panel face and concept. As soon as the artwork is ready I will take it and the material to our new friend and hopefully have some perfectly cut parts back here in a day or so to finalize the panel so that when the electrician eventually visits us he has a fully installed panel ready for him.
