Continued sanding, shaping, filling, spotting, finishing and priming of all empennage tips, repeated until a smooth and flush finish results
Started finalizing this fiberglass work today by focusing on the V-stab then the rudder and then the two elevator halves. Completed the V-stab and rudder with only pinholes to fill tomorrow, the Elavators were again filled and surfaced and the all important horn faces were levelled then coated and fiberglass cloth covered and smoothed, once set the faces were shaped and sanded by hand to a smooth, even and straight face, flush with the surrounding structure....nightmare!!
Tomorrow the faces will be finalized and sealed up then the elevators finalized as per the rest of the empennage before them.
