Brief Description:  Left tips installed, trailing edges filled up more

Started by adding to the left elevator tip flange to better fit the matched holes in the elevator, added a layer of cloth yesterday but had to add another two plus poured resin onto the edge and masked to make up a flange, once dried I added filler then primer and bonded metal strips to the inside to create a perfect insert which was installed on the elevator and match-drilled to no#40 ahnd cleco'd in place ready for final drilliong and riveting.

Also had to install foam insert into this tip as it needed to be opened to meet upper and lower skins of elevator edge. The tip was trimmed at the open face and filler added and shaped to left and right elevator tip trailing edges/points to better match in assembly.

Started to rivet the left tip in place after final drilling and countersinking for CS4-4 rivets as per all the tips, these rivets are then deburred and filled to become invisible. More shaping and finishing on the left stab tip produced a final result which was primed and will serve as the standard for all the tip joins....when dry the metal can still expand and move at the join line without affecting tjhe plastic, just that the plastic is now flush with the skins.

Also installed the right sized but temporary bolts on the elvator pushrod and horn and joining the elevator halves after I took the pushrod off to adjust the two rod ends to get equal travel on both up and down on the elevator / forward and back at the stick - may need a tiny bit final adjustment at final assembly for flight.

Hosted the electrician and went through our ideas, decisions and options and laid out a plan to get him started asap.
