Brief Description: Taping and assembly of frame parts and latch.
In applying final coats yesterday to the various parts, on the last round a wind and dust pretty much ruined most of the wet parts so this morning I spent some time cleaning off the paint then resprayed the final coats.
UHMW arrived today so I was able to finally tape the skins and latch parts to final assemble or rivet them. Applied first to the skins then began assembling the frame assembly and started riveting the parts. Then taped the latch halves and re-assembled the latch mechanism and installed that with cleco's again to be riveted on the cabin wall.
The sub panel flanges needed some more trimming and eventually got it right but have to check again with the paint when the final coat of paint on the frame is dry.
