Brief Description:  panel brackets, cleaned up cabin, covers in cabin

I started today by working finalizing the replacement arm on the canopy release, i scrounged around for enough material to do the shorter arm but will have to order a length since we had none. I primed the completed arm and then reassembled in place in the mechanism.

I then climbed in the cabin with the vacuum cleaner and thouroughly cleaned out all shavings, dust, rivets, loose bits and offcuts and a lot of dirt, I wiped clean the surfaces of the walls and floor specifically with a view to keeping it like that for the final phases of construction, it will need to be touched up by the painter but for all intents and purposes this is the cabin finsh and I am soon going to install the finishes and fittings and things luike the seats etc so it needs to be kept clean.
To aid this and to ensure it stays clean despite the mega work still to be done in there, also to ensure a comfortable working situation I measured and made up covers for the relevant walls, components and floors from insulation material that is very hardy, soft to work on and very protective. By the end I had a very clean cabin, with nice, made to fit covers and protective cladding in all the right areas so work can go on in there.

I also made up and fitted a protective sheeting over the canopy frame, this is s good thickness to give the necessary spacing when the canopy bubble is fitted and lowered on to the frame, this sheath will prevent the frame from scratching the bubble whilst it is manuvered into position on the frame and also keeps the painted frame clean and scratch free during the extensive work from inside the cabin that is to follow.

I also measured, marked out and fabricated the 8 brackets from .063 3/4 x 3/4 angle stock that secure the panel to the deck and to the cabin longerons.
