Began assembly and fabrication of the battery tray, retainer and mountings, also marked out and drilled the mounting holes for the starter relay units as per DWG OP34, as well as measured, marked and drilled all the battery tray mounting holes into the firewall. Mounted the solenoids temporarily to arrange and fit all the components. Cut the lightening holes in the front of the metal battery box and fabricated the mounting angles. Test fit the initial components to the firewall and match drilled to final size all the mounting holes. Began cleaning and prep of all the surfaces and gaps to be sealed on the underside of the aircraft, from the firewall back, including the main gear gaps, brake coupling gaps and the vent line bolt holes.
