Been lazy about updating and not getting that much done on the plane either. Excuses include Sharon was TDY and I was hurting for a few days as well.
We finally took on the longerons. One of the dreaded tasks in building a RV-12. Even with help from the DVDs, it was still a serious PITA. However, it is behind us. We also received some quality advice from Don Kennedy, another RV-12 builder which was quite helpful.
Prior to working the ;longerrons, we did the fuselage crossbrace and the seatbaks. The latter are not yet finsihed.
Also on Saturday we went to Mojave airport for Plane Crazy. This month the focus was RVs. We went hoping to see an RV-12 or two. No such luck, but Jerry Deanda and Don Kennedy flew up from Santa Paula in Lola, Jerry's RV-6.
