I finished the battery hookup, then moved on to hookup the starter contactor. From there, I wired the alternators, then the magnetos. I finished up with the position lights.
I had a few minor setbacks. I wasn't able to extract a pin from J8 on the VPX. I couldn't find the extraction tool. It turned out to be a piece of piano wire. In the mean time, it looks like I damaged the extraction portion of the connector. I decided to just swap the pins and leave the connector installed. I was able to remove a couple other pins when I inserted them incorrectly. But I found it far easier to just do it right the first time ;)
I am happy with the layout. Once I get the spiral wrap put on permanently, this will look very nice.
I figure I am about 60% through on the airframe wiring. The avionics wiring should go faster.
