I shaped the side slides and built up the front rollers. I then matched the canopy to the side of the fuselage. Vans makes a big deal about this, but my frame was pretty much a perfect match. I did have to push the rear of the frame down from about 4" to the 5/8" clearance from the track that Vans specifies.
