I spent most of the time hooking up the external GPS. This seems redundant at this point. I wired the ADS-B WAAS GPS and the GRT into an A/B switch to feed the EFIS.
I also configured the serial ports best I could. I have to go back and set the BAUD rates for most of the ports. And, I will have to configure the Garmins to match.
I spent an hour playing with the GRT demo logs. These are good teaching aids. I have become fairly comfortable navigating a lot of the screens and menues.
